Here's a little story from back when I used to live in the city
I always went to Club Paradosso, every single night
I knew the bouncer, so I'd always walk right past the line
Inside the club the lights flashed in various colours,
the dancers were moving in religious patterns
And every time I closed my eyes I'd see colours flow where the dancers used to be


But this night things were different
There was a girl and she shone through the club
She was a beaming light that blinded us all
Like staring into a thousand suns as they all burst into flames

I noticed everyone was staring at her like she was divine
She was a godess, in a human shell
I headed to the dancefloor and danced right next to her
And when she touched me I was launched into a lucid dream


She said 'I got all the answers you're looking for
I know what you've been yearning all your life
I can take you there, to the place you've always wanted to go
Our souls are one, we exist together in the nothingness of space
Let me show you the way'
And our souls emerged

Then I opened my eyes and saw we were still dancing
Barely a second had passed
She had lied, but told me the truth
She had blinded me, but opened my eyes
It was real, but yet... it never happened

What happened next I can't explain
But she opened herself
Her energy was all around me
And I was consumed
