COMMISSIONS

Commissions are accepted based on the composer's current workload. Rates per commission are broken down into three caragories: length of piece, number of instruments, and work per hour.

• The rate for length of piece is $10 per minute of context.
• Additional instruments, past an initial four, are $5 per instrument.
• The work put into the piece is $5 per hour spent composing (and mastering and/or recording, if requested).

Time frame must be no less than three to four weeks to allow for proper planning and adjustments. The commissioner is welcome to input into the process, but only in the interest of completing the commission to the satisfaction of both parties. Copyright belongs to the composer, but usage of the piece, outside of the composer's porfolio, is at the legal discretion of the commissioner.

Rates are subject to change, a the descretion of the composer, to adjust for inflation and standard of living.

PERFORMANCES

Sheet music is available at request for those interested in performing any of the composer's works. The composer reserves the right to ask for royalties, if an entrance fee is collected. However, the composer is interested only in maintain his legal rights and will most likely not ask for such royalties.

No unauthorized records of the composer's work are allowed. To receive authorization to record, contact the composer within six weeks of the performance. The composer retains the right to ask for a copy of the recording, for portfolio purposes.

Any and all sales of recorded performances of the composer's work are subject to the collection of royalties by the composer. Only at the discretion of the composer will any exceptions be made.
